Mission Statement ACBANKS.COM was created so that consumers searching for a community bank in their new or current neighborhood could find one by going to ACBANKS.COM and entering their zip code, city or state. By using our internet directory for community banks, the consumer can easily find information about a bank that they couldn't find in the yellow pages or other traditional directories. Our goal is to provide consumers with an internet directory listing for every community bank in the country. Achieving that goal will give the consumer the freedom to review any community bank with a web site on ACBANKS.COM. In addition to helping the consumer locate a community bank, we have links to other sites, which provide the consumer with financial news. We are linked to CNNfn, NASDQ, Weather.COM, BankRate.com and MostChoice.com. We want to make it easy, quick and efficient for the consumer to find information that will assist them in managing their day-to-day lives. Our mission is to also help bankers create more value for their web site investment. It's unrealistic to assume that consumers would know a bank's web site address and it's equally impossible for the banker to advertise and promote just their web site address.
